As you can guess, this specific spot directed by Tool’s Geordie Stephens involves a tie-in with the likely blockbuster that is the The Avengers, which will arrive in theaters on May 4. Appropriately enough this time around, there’s a superhero twist to the mix and even a cameo from the one and only Stan Lee. We imagine that the soda-swilling, comic book geek demo might get a kick out of this, though we’re still partial to the original ad. If you’re a fan of Dr. Pepper’s T-shirt theme in general, it seems that this will be ongoing throughout this year.
