The Barbarian Group Bids Adieu to a Few Staffers

You hate to follow up such a lovely holiday weekend with bad news, but alas, we have a job to do. While we ‘Spy kids were indulging in various forms of July 4th debauchery, tips trickled into our HQ about The Barbarian Group letting go of a dozen or so staffers before the holiday.

After some checking, the Barbarian camp confirmed the rumors, citing the usual “restructuring” as the reason. Though the actual number of layoffs weren’t disclosed, the company (who added that they are still in fact hiring) said they were issued mostly in Boston. It makes sense considering the most of the creative force is now entrenched in NYC.
