CNN keeps failing and now it may cost them some money. Apparently the 25ish hours of Michael Jackson coverage they did included imagery they didn't own (or ask for the copyrights to), and now the owners want some scratch.

The Catcher in the Rye is J.D. Salinger's work, and no one is going to write a sequel, says a judge. The reclusive Salinger, 90, successfully staved off another author's attempt to publish a novel set 60 years after the original.
