This Enfatico stuff is too effing rich. We just confirmed with inside sources that for Michael Dell's Monday visit Enfatico's Austin office, each Apple monitor and keyboard was replaced with Dell products.

Let's dissect the ways in which this is nothing short of completely ridiculous.

1. Dell probably bought the Macs monitors/keyboards, only to have them replaced with Dell goods. Talk about a waste of money.
2. Someone actually was sitting somewhere inside Enfatico and thought, "Sh*t, we have to replace EVERYTHING," and probably ran around frantically telling his/her equally flabbergasted coworkers.
3. Right now, at this very moment, there's a closet inside Enfatico stuffed with at least $100,000 worth of giant monitors and their less expensive keyboard brethren.
4. Michael Dell actually thinks 100 percent of the media created for his company is done on PCs.
5. PC and Mac keyboards/monitors don't operate in the same ways. Namely, key functions are different as well as pixel refresh rates — meaning work-flow was hampered by mis-keyed commands and faulty screen colors.
6. Enfatico now has $100,000 worth of Dell monitors and keyboards that it has to store somewhere, for the next Michael Dell visit.
7. Let's not forget the 10 yr. lease they just signed in New York.
8. Or Tribble's Enfatico clocks, reminding us all of the inevitable end.

But think again.

Multiple sources at Enfatico say that in preparation for Michael Dell’s recent visit to the agency, employees were under orders to get rid of their Macs– replacing them with Dell monitors, keyboards, etc. Did Dell Procurement forget to insert the equipment usage clause into their contract or did Enfatico misread the fine print?
