Whopper Sacrifice is No More, We Smell BS

Adfreak has a story up stating that Facebook has pulled Whopper Sacrifice off the site, nothing something about too many friends being sacrificed. Hmm. Interesting, when you consider that just yesterday someone posted a hack that allows a person to acquire the burgers without sacrificing friendships. We wrote about it.

Either Adfreak is towing the party line, or they just didn’t hear about the hack. An interesting tidbit from the Adfreak post,

“Facebook has responded by saying the application is merely being tweaked for privacy reasons. Officials at the social network didn’t like that it alerted people who had been iun-friendedi as part of the application. ‘We encourage creativity from developers and brands using Facebook Platform,’ a spokesperson told the Inside Facebook blog. ‘But we also must ensure that applications follow users’ expectations of privacy.’”

There’s a saying that goes, “bullshit baffles brains.” The end.
