I have over 15 years' experience crafting results-driven communications for corporate clients and producing powerful prose for media clients.
As a writer, I began in the travel-trade press. I went on to manage the editorial life cycles of seven business-to-business publications for a Washington, D.C.-based publisher, then managed daily production of 13 websites for Citysearch. Now I freelance full time.
In 2008, I won the Gold Azbee Award for Editorial Excellence from the American Society of Business Publication Editors. In 2010, I won two Gold Quill awards from the International Association of Business Communicators for my work with News Group Net. |

(Education.com, 7/20/2007)
Teaching independence isn't always easy. (And you may occasionally grit your teeth while your kids make an offbeat choice.) But the effort pays back tenfold, in the form of capable children who can navigate their world with confidence.
