Job Requirements Bachelor Degree or advanced degree in related field preferred or combination of education and experience. Studies in Human Factors and Interface design preferred. Training in Web analytics software preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in digital marketing development, competitive analysis and user research. Experience in developing/implementing effective project management processes required.
Experience in using usability best practices and web analytics data to inform design and development decisions required.
Experience as an information architect, interactive designer or experience designer (or similar role) preferred.

Basic level: Must be able to perform basic functions in HTML and CSS
Strong level: Must be able to perform most basic functions as well as some advanced functions in Word, Excel, Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite
Advanced level: Must be able to perform most advanced functions in Power Point

Language/ Oral and Written Communication Skills
Extremely strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills are vital. Must clearly articulate user experience concepts and explain interactive ideas and solutions in a logical and professional manner. This includes an ability to build and present prototypes that foster an understanding of proposed development priorities. Must be able to compose clear and concise correspondence to promote technology-related initiatives to a broad audience of internal users. Must write robust project materials, including detailed user experience specifications, comprehensive RFP’s and ongoing status reports.

Project Management/ Leadership/Creativity/ Analytical/ Math Skills
Requires the creativity to leverage design and information architecture to build a great brand experience online. Must be able to independently trouble-shoot Web site and project issues and make practical and actionable decisions and recommendations after evaluating multiple courses of action. Also must be capable of designing, conducting and interpreting user research. Must have basic math skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, in order to estimate and track budgets and analyze traffic, SEO performance and other trend data.

Organizational/ Administrative Skills
Able to multi-task given incomplete and conflicting knowledge, and prioritize multiple projects/initiatives in a deadline-driven environment. Must be an extremely detail-oriented and highly organized individual with excellent time management skills. Must have an ability to work independently with little supervision and motivate staff to remain vigilant about many ongoing priorities and open to sudden changes in direction.
Other Skills
Strong understanding of Web .20 technologies and trends and how to leverage them to enhance user experience and drive response/leads.

Requires sufficient interactive production knowledge to understand and anticipate the time and effort required for various interactive development tasks for various channels and platforms. This includes an ability to identify architecturally significant requirements and their ramifications in the earliest stages of discussion.

Good working knowledge of systems infrastructure technologies.

Prior experience hand-coding in HTML and CSS with and understanding of JavaScript is a plus but the work is front-end focused. Good visual design skills and experience with a focus on user interface is required.

Strong familiarity with paid and organic search marketing, social media, research tools and web analytics.

About Our Company Sotheby's International Realty, Inc. is seeking a full time Interactive Marketing Manager for our Marketing Department in our NYC Corporate office.

This position is responsible for supporting the strategy and implementation of interactive marketing initiatives for the company. Must be knowledgeable about the interactive industry and competitive landscape and able to help translate trends, new technologies and market opportunities into appropriate strategy for the organization.

This position reports to the SVP of Marketing and collaborates with brokerage managers and IT staff and must have the analytical skills and experience to successfully balance business, technology and end-user requirements in the development and execution of project plans.

Helps executes the strategy and requirements and helps create project plans for the company websites, intranet site and digital and social marketing to improve client service and ROI in marketing costs.

Monitors interactive trends and technologies along with the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovations and enhancement and ensures that we offer a “best in class” user experience for clients and agents from our intranet and websites.

Works with staff and other company departments to maintain a localized and effective web and intranet presence. Conducts internal interactive needs assessment to determine the key concepts and issues to address and prioritize them among offices/regions. Also manages and measures NRT web-related technology initiatives on an ongoing basis.

Creates and delivers training modules on how to use our interactive tools, leverage their full functionality and populate and update content. Maintains custom features such as the office upload utility and advises on needed enhancements and development.
