Chris co-founded appssavvy, an activity advertising technology company and serves as CEO. His and appssavvy's vision has pioneered a new advertising model focused on people's activity. The vision of social activity advertising has established Chris as a recognized thought leader. He frequently speaks at industry conferences and forums, including ad:tech, IAB, iMedia and 4A's events, and comments on the latest developments in the social space live on CNBC and Bloomberg TV, and in leading publications, such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Bloomberg BusinessWeek and USA Today. He also serves as co-chair of the IAB Social Media Committee and in 2010 and 2011 was a finalist for Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year award, an achievement which was led by Chris' leadership in driving appssavvy to profitability in less than two years after founding and every subsequent quarter. Today, appssavvy has more than 60 employees in four offices across the U.S. and is recognized as a great place to work by Crain's New York Business' Best Places to Work in NYC - an honor won in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Chris graduated from the University of North Carolina Greensboro with a bachelor's of arts degree in Economics & Marketing and is based in New York City.
Emeric is the co-founder of AgoraPulse (www.agorapulse.com), a European based Facebook Marketing Technology launched in 2011. AgoraPulse is currently being used by more than 4,000 Facebook Pages across 27 countries and is expanding internationally through strategic local partners.
He is one of the European pioneers in the field of Social Media Marketing. The first company he co-founded in 2000 was a technology allowing brands to create their own white label social network, this was 4 years before Ning or Facebook.
He has advised French and international brands such as Virgin Megastores, FIA and Microsoft. He is a member of the Board of the Social Media Club in Paris, France and is a regular speaker at European conferences such as iStrategy, Digital Paris and eMarketing.
As Director of Social Strategy, Jordan wears many hats at Clickable. After functioning as an account strategist for both search and social accounts on Clickable’s Solutions team, Jordan managed the development of the Social Act Engine’s algorithmic approach to bidding and budgeting as well as executing the new Social Analytics Dashboard. A master campaign optimizer, Jordan has built and launched some of the most complex accounts for an impressive roster of clients. Jordan is deeply versed in the social advertising space and plays an important role as a thought leader, advancing Clickable’s product development to bring clarity and actionable insight to social advertisers, marketers, and agencies. Jordan is a graduate of Yale University with a Bachelors Degree in American Studies, specializing in 20th Century American Culture.
Austin Haugen is a Product Manager on Facebook’s Platform team. Austin has been at Facebook for three years, and has worked on all aspects of the platform, including building out Facebook’s suite of Social Plugins (including Facebook’s Comments Box and Like Button). Austin is currently the Product Manager for the Open Graph, which he has been working on for the past year and half. Prior to Facebook, Austin was at Stanford where he holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and a MS in Computer Science.
Emi Hofmeister brings 8 years of branding and marketing experience with a background that spans multiple forms of traditional, digital, and social marketing. She joined Adobe through the acquisition of Context Optional, where she directed the strategic development and implementation of comprehensive social campaigns for enterprise organizations including Hyatt, Safeway, and Levi's. In her current role, Emi specializes in optimizing social strategies for high-touch brands. Her goal is to enable marketers to more effectively leverage social platforms to drive business impact.
As Sr. Director of Social & Mobile Product Management at Ancestry.com, Kendall guides the company's strategic approach to social integration across multiple platforms and the development of its popular mobile apps. Kendall has held multiple product management positions during his 8 years at Ancestry.com, working on different aspects of the service from search, to family trees, and most recently mobile devices, APIs and social integration. Prior to joining Ancestry.com, Kendall worked in product marketing at Monster.com. Kendall has a degree in Business: Information Systems from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Sudha Jamthe is a social media strategist at eBay where she focuses on social commerce and social business success. She has built social media teams, organizations and partnerships for PayPal, AOL/Bebo, Intuit and Network World. She blogs at coolastory.com and tweets as @sujamthe. Sudha leads the Silicon Valley Facebook and Google+ Meetups and is a regular speaker on Social Media Strategy, Social Metrics and corporate social business adoption. Sudha loves grassroots innovation and teaches a class on Leveraging Partner Social at UCSCExt school.
As Social Media Manager for two restaurant brands that total over 275 restaurant locations internationally (company-owned & franchises combined), Elaine stays busy managing everything related to social media for Luby’s and Fuddruckers. This includes managing the brands’ Facebook and Twitter accounts, formulating effective email campaigns, managing online promotions and ensuring the two brands always stay ahead of the social media curve. She draws experience as far back as 2001 when she started her first blog and founded a local Houston blogging community. She has been an early adopter ever since of all things related to social media. She is very active in the Houston social media community and has been quoted in various local publications on the topic. Her expertise is in B2C with an emphasis on Facebook engagement. When she is not online, she spends her weekends as a freelance photographer or dancing salsa. Elaine is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.A. in International Studies and is fluent in Spanish.
He couldn't find a tool that gave him the information he needed to be a better Facebook marketer, so he cofounded PageLever to be a Facebook analytics tool that provides answers, not just data. Currently PageLever measures more than 1 billion Facebook fans across customers that include 4 of the 10 largest Facebook pages.
