Who is a Community Manager? Someone who creates and maintains meaningful customer relationships in the social media space on behalf of a corporation or brand.



The Draftfcb Community Manager leverages their understanding of social platform nuances, ability to communicate through a brand filter, and in-depth knowledge of available content and resources to help foster dialogue within the community, maximize customer engagement, and quickly resolve any issues should they arise. She/He must have real experience in the hands-on execution of conversational marketing in the social media space – online communities, Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest. Of course, this person is not only proficient in all things digital/social, but is also an excellent conversationalist, writer and host. And we won’t complain about thier comprehensive passion and knowledge of trends in health, fitness, beauty, and fashion news. In fact, it’s a vital part of the position.



Responsibilities:

•Strategically and proactively research and be a vital part of creating content calendar and blogger outreach plans (with a focus on wellness) for health food-industry client

•Support the Social Strategist in the development and execution of multi-platform social media strategies, editorial calendars and tactical plans

•Manage and execute brand presence on client-owned social media platforms

•Represent the brand in a friendly, knowledgeable manner

•Identify Influencers and develop a rapport with them

•Update ancillary platforms (i.e., YouTube and Instagram) with relevant UGC – requires discovery of content, securing permission and inclusion as favorite

•Manage incoming content (select the most relevant content, tag it for the appropriate audience, pass it through to the gateway)

•Resolve/elevate issues when they arise within the communities

•Extremely online savvy – socially active online with a solid understanding of social media and the dynamics of community interaction

•Lives and breathes all things health and wellness (nutrition) with strong emphasis on fashion, beauty, and fitness

•A strong written and verbal communicator – written samples required

•Diplomatic and professional with a good dose of common sense

•Friendly, social and charismatic

•Assertive and resourceful with a proven track record of getting things done

•Responsible, accountable and willing to go the extra mile

•Able to excel with minimal supervision

•Exceptional at setting and driving schedules, acquiring resources, completing projects on time, multi-tasking and just plain getting the most out of people

•An active participant in a broad mix of social media platforms

•A guru in online marketing/PR, online community management and site editing with 2 years experience
