Job Requirements While working closely with the Director of Public Information, and colleagues in Marketing & Sales and, the Manager, Social Media will be responsible for raising ASME’s profile in external social media by developing innovative content and engagement strategies for a variety of social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, and other emerging social media platforms.

Other responsibilities include:
• Monitoring and engaging in online conversations in external social media platforms
• Identifying and establishing relationships with key social media influencers
• Working interdepartmentally to provide guidance and training as well as to help advance and grow community groups on
• Define key performance indicators by implementing measurement, analytics, and reporting methods

This position requires an experienced professional with a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience in leading strategic digital campaigns with nonprofit, media or programmatic partners. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of social conversation reporting tools and have strong written and verbal communication skills. In addition, the candidate will also have high attention to detail and a proven track record for meeting deadlines.
