In a generally quieter month, Cebu Pacific has leapt to the most-mentioned top spot, ahead of December’s leader Air Asia. Volaris is a new entry at third.
Cebu Pacific received over two thousand more mentions on Twitter than Air Asia, who were tweeted over 3,500 times less than in December. Air Asia did manage to reclaim the talking champion prize, with their 4,028 public tweets beating Delta into second place.
Overall, Twitter is now being used by more airlines than ever before, with some 196 airlines sending 47,212 tweets to almost two million followers last month.
