How long have you been using the internet?

If you’re a person of a certain age – that is, depressingly young – it’s highly likely you’ve never known a world without the web. While the origins of the internet can be traced back to 1969, it wasn’t until the 1990s and the launch of the first proper browser that the medium really started to take off, with Yahoo!, Google, e-commerce and the birth of social media each playing a hugely important role en route to the present day, when it’s almost impossible to imagine a life without these tools.
