ESPN’s 30 for 30: Bad Boys, an affectionate look at the love-to-hate Detroit Pistons NBA basketball franchise of the late 1980s and 90s, topped Nielsen’s Twitter TV ratings for the week April 14-20, beating off strong competition from ABC’s Scandal and HBO’s Game Of Thrones.
Game Of Thrones was the third episode of the fourth season – airing one week after the rather popular death of a rather unpopular character (although one could argue he was another love-to-hate figure), the show featured a highly controversial scene that dominated Twitter talk, but not enough to upset Bad Boys. Indeed, Game Of Thrones finished fourth overall this week, with MTV’s Awkward taking third place.
