In February 2012, Sky News made Twitter headlines with its widely contested ban on its employees retweeting or sharing information from any Twitter users not employed by Sky News.
And now the broadcaster is stirring the Twitter pot again with a strange fake hack cover-up.
Canadian Space Agency astronaut Chris Hadfield was live-tweeting his experiences in outer space directly from the International Space Station for the past 146 days.
And now Hadfield has safely returned to Earth – much to the chagrin of his loyal Twitter following.

Thanks to a new SEC ruling, Twitter will shortly be making its arrival on Wall Street, via Bloomberg, and Marketwired reached out to the investment community to gauge their reaction.
The bottom line? Investors under 40 mostly welcomed the news, with 70 percent believing the SEC ruling is beneficial to investors, and 60 percent say that they’re already actively using social media for investment research. More than half (53 percent) believe information provided by social media is “very credible”, and 80 percent believe that more companies will disclose information via social media.
Just when you thought every great Twitter handle HAS to be taken, someone finds another one that you wish you’d thought of first.
And the folks who found THIS one are asking for your help, as they’re . . . controversial.
Although we (still) find this incredibly weird, add these videos to the list of “things you just can’t stay away from:” A grown man on YouTube reading tweets sent by young female celebrities.
Oh and the “grown man” is comedian Nick Offerman from Parks and Recreation, so that makes the whole thing a lot less creepy than you imagined – but it’s still a big ball of uncomfortable.
And you know you’re going to watch it.
Tis the season for young souls to be released from their college constraints and fly free into the word – full of hope and possibility. And a Kansas City paper had the great idea of encouraging local folks to tweet pearls of wisdom to these new graduates using the #DearGrads hashtag.
