Facebook maintains its position as the most popular social network in Norway, with 77 percent of the country’s population – about 3.1 million users – active on the platform, reveals new data from Ipsos MMI.
Conversely, less than one in four Norwegians use Twitter, and just 28 percent of those are active on Twitter each day.
Indeed, Google+ (30 percent), Snapchat (28 percent) and even – gasp – LinkedIn (26 percent) are all more popular than Twitter in Norway.
Twitter is used more frequently amongst its users day-to-day than those on Google+ or LinkedIn, but once again Facebook is the clear leader in this metric, with Snapchat and Instagram both some distance behind.
