NYPD Sharing Criminals’ Photos On Twitter

Do you ever read those weekly police reports that local communities typically share in print or online? If you haven’t seen them, they tell you where burglaries, stolen cars and drunken disorderlies happen in (or near) your neighborhood. It’s a good way to know what areas of town to avoid late at night, really. Or a heads up to take extra precautions if crime is consistently happening nearby.

But wouldn’t it be nice to know WHO to look out for though?

The 76th Precinct of the New York Police Department thinks so, it seems – and they’re taking action: They’re tweeting pictures of criminals.
