Did you know that almost a quarter (24.3 percent) of the top 10,000 websites in the world use some form of official Facebook integration on their homepage? If you include standard links to their Facebook Pages, this number jumps to an even more impressive 49.3 percent.

So how does that compare to Twitter? Well, while two-fifths (41.7 percent) of the top 10,000 websites have some form of Twitter link on their homepage (i.e., “follow us on Twitter”), just 4.3 percent use Twitter’s share button, and only one in ten (10 percent) utilise any of the official Twitter widgets.
