How Often Should You Change Your Twitter Photo?

So you went to a wedding last weekend and someone took a fantastic shot of you that would be the perfect Twitter profile pic. But you just changed your photo last week… is it OK to change it again? Yes and no.

Twitter Quietly Rolls Out Richer Facebook Integration

Twitter has improved how tweets appear on Facebook for those users who have connected the two networks.

In typical Twitter style, this richer integration was rolled out without much fanfare, but it does make for a more readable, functional Twitter-to-Facebook experience.

Goodbye TwitPic, Yfrog? Twitter Becomes #1 Photo Hosting Service

Twitter announced that it would offer an official image hosting and uploading service in August of this year, and it looks like it’s taken a chunk of out the third-parties that used to be the leaders in the space since then.

Twitter has become the number one photo sharing service on the network, with 36.1 percent of all shares coming from its official service.

How to Rock Your Twitter Profile Pic

While your Twitter handle or username is an important identifier, your profile pic is a lot like speed dating – you’ve only got a couple of seconds to make an impression.

Did Qantas Support A “Racist” Twitter Contest, Or Are Its Followers Overreacting?

It’s often hard to predict how your audience will react to something you tweet. You think you’re sharing something insightful, but they laugh at it and call it silly. Or, in the case of Qantas, an Australian airline, you think you’re supporting a fun contest but your followers call “racism”.

What’s Better for your Business on Twitter: A Logo or a Photo?

The debate has been raging on the Twitter-sphere for some time now: is it better for your business to have a logo as your avatar or a photo? While there haven’t been any studies done on the effectiveness of either (but we’d love to see one!), we thought we’d weigh on the debate in with our two cents, too.
