Android Fans Can Now Check Their Portfolio With StockTwits
Since the site was launched by CEO Howard Lindzon in 2008, StockTwits, the 24/7 financial community where traders and investors share market insight, information, charts and news in real time, has grown to well over 150,000 members, and has developed a like-minded, community spirit based on the generosity of ideas.
The service has always leaned heavily on Twitter (it’s built into TweetDeck), and while the bulk of traffic is web-based, StockTwits has had apps available for iPhone, iPad and Blackberry for some time, for portfolio checking on the go. Now, users of Android-powered smartphones can enjoy the StockTwits experience while they’re on the move, too.
