Twitter To Open Silicon Valley Branch

Joining Google and other tech giants in Southern California, word is Twitter plans to open a Silicon Valley branch in the near future.

Have they already filled their new Market Street nest?

Maybe they just want to edge a bit closer to the Google Monster, so they can collaborate on Glass and other mysteries of the Interwebs . . . or maybe it’s just a more convenient location to scope out and steal more Google employees.

Twitter Moves Above Google (But Below Facebook) As The Second Most Talked About Online Brand

On Monday we wrote about how all that messy super-injunction business has given Twitter a huge boost in the United Kingdom, with new figures suggesting the platform had seen a significant rise in online visits, and a jump of some 22% between May 20-21.

Now, data from internet-based market research firm YouGov has revealed that Twitter’s profile is so high that they’ve become the second-most talked about online brand – even above Google (although Facebook, at number one, is some way off in the distance).

The problem? Nobody knows how they feel about it.
