The 20 Most Popular Brands On Twitter [STATS]

@YouTube remains the top, most-followed brand on Twitter, with its more than 35 million followers placing it well ahead of all other brands, including the official @Twitter profile.

Social media companies continue to dominate all brands on Twitter, with six entries in the top ten, including second-placed @Instagram and @Twitter (which is third, and closing on @Instagram). There’s a huge divide between the top three profiles and fourth-placed @cnnbrk of more than 10 million followers, before @twitter_es, @Facebook and @UberSoc make an appearance.

Overall, nine brands on Twitter now have more than 10 million followers. Most of the action this month is further down the table, with @FunnyOrDie leap-frogging both @Google and @ESPN to 16th place, and a new entry at number 20 for @detikcom.
