Retailer Average Revenue Per Twitter Visitor Climbs To £0.46 (Facebook £0.69, Pinterest £0.88) [STUDY]
Average revenue for retailers in the United Kingdom on traffic from Twitter has risen to £0.46 per visitor in Q4 2013, compared to £0.28 in Q4 2012, a jump of 64 percent, reveals a new study from Adobe Digital Index.
While Twitter’s increase is impressive, its numbers still pale in comparison to both Facebook (£0.69 per visitor, up from £0.64 in 2012) and especially Pinterest, whose £0.88 per visitor average is almost twice that of Twitter’s. Moreover, Pinterest’s 2012 average revenue per visitor figure of £0.59 was already £0.13p above where Twitter is now.
