How Many People Work At Twitter? (It’s Probably More Than You Think)

How many people work at Twitter? 394, at the current count.

That’s an official tally, and it’s a huge leap from when I last blogged about the Twitter work force back in September 2009, when the number was just 69 (dude).

Still, when held up against competitors in the tech space it’s still on the small side. Facebook, for example, has over 2000 employees.

Would you like to work at Twitter? Well, you can: they’re always hiring.

(PS. Perhaps a better question is – why do so many Twitter employees still use the default avatar? You’d have thought that kind of thing would be frowned upon.)
