In what is becoming a Twitter trend, another famous person is taking over a sports establishment’s Twitter stream to cover a game.
Last week we told you about Alyssa Milano taking over the National Hockey League’s handle for the night to cover the LA Kings game against the Phoenix Coyotes. She’s a big fan of the Kings.
Well tonight’s Twitter fun is all about basketball – and it will be coming to you live from a player, not a celebrity: the New York Knicks’ “Renaissance Man,” Amar’e Stoudemire.
New York Knicks forward Amar’e Stoudemire will take over NBA TV’s official Twitter account @NBATV, on Monday, May 21 at 7 p.m. (ET) during the Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics, Game 5.
During the takeover, Stoudemire will provide his own analysis on the game, chat with fans, studio analysts and more. To interact with Stoudemire via @NBATV twitter account, use the hashtag #AMARETAKEOVER.
Amar’e seems pretty excited about it:
Do you plan to tune in? If you do, let us know how it goes!
