Amazon has plans to acquire the publication rights of up to 121 books currently published by The Toby Press, including the eBook versions. The collection of books includes work from more than 61 authors.

Authors involved in the deal include: Crystal Wilkinson, Samantha Dunn, Joshua Barkan, Anna Enquist, Yasmina Khadra, Hartmut Lange, Katharina Hacker, Haim Sabato, Shlomo DuNour, and Laurent Gaudé.

Amazon’s publishing imprints, AmazonEncore and AmazonCrossing, will re-publish the works as print editions and Kindle editions in the U.S. and in some cases globally. The print editions will be available through Amazon, as well as in bookstores. eBook editions will be exclusive to the Kindle store.
