AppHero Lets You Discover Apps Based on Your Social Graph

With new apps flooding the market every day, searching for fun new apps can be difficult. Enter AppHero, a new app discovery tool, that lets you find apps based on your interests and what apps your friends are using.

You can login with Facebook to connect the app to your social graph. It will scrape data from your Facebook account in order to recommend apps. AppHero also makes app recommendations based on your interests and preferences. But you don’t have to worry about it recommending apps that you already have. For example, if you are a news junkie, you probably already have The New York Times app and AppHero knows this.

AppHero will also suggest apps based on your browsing and downloading habits as you use the app. So if you download Angry Birds in Space, AppHero may recommend another fun gaming app. You can also invite your friends to AppHero to see the apps they have and recommend apps to them. The latest update adds Twitter and email logins.
