Apple Will Not Reimburse Third Party iPhone 4 Cases

While Apple is giving away free bumpers and money back to iPhone 4 customers who bought Apple bumpers, the company is not reimbursing consumers who bought third party cases for the iPhone 4.

This shouldn’t be a big deal, hopefully. GDTG quoted Apple CEO Steve Jobs in a live blog feed: “It’s a very small number because we didn’t sell as many cases because we didn’t share the phone design with case manufacturers in advance of launch.”

Jobs faced some tough questions from reporters, who grilled him about everything from an article that alleged they knew about the antenna problem to how he held his own iPhone. He also used the press conference as a way to critique the media hype, accusing journalists of trying to tear Apple down, pleading that humans make mistakes.
