Asus@Vibe Brings Android App Support to your PC

For the past several years now Asus has had their own content store, Asus@vibe, where they’ve sold music, videos, ebooks, and more. As of today, that includes Android apps.

The latest version of Asus@vibe now includes the ability to run Android apps – on Windows. This feature was developed in partnership with Bluestacks, a developer who has been working on this for some years now.

Currently available apps include Angry Birds, Pulse, Evernote, and Bunny Shooter. Users can access the apps for free for 6 months, and after 6 months they’ll have to upgrade to Bluestacks Premium Access in order to continue to play. I cannot find any details on the price, though.

Bluestacks posted this demo video earlier this week:

Note that this app will only run on Asus hardware.
