Parking can be a pain in San Francisco. With street cleaning requiring you to move your car every couple of days, it’s easy to get a ticket.

ParkSmart is a new iOS app designed to help you remember where your car is park and then set reminders to tell you when to move it to avoid parking tickets. The $.99 app is simple to use. You drop a pin where you have parked and then set the timer for a time that you would like to be reminded you when to move it. The app knows the cleaning schedule and will remind you when to move your car at a time that is hopefully convenient for you to move your car.

ParkSmart is currently only available in San Francisco, but will soon be available in surrounding cities including Oakland, Palo Alto and Berkeley.
