Bandsintown, the app that won’t let you miss your favorite band when they come to town, has introduced a new Spotify app that helps you search for live shows based on your Spotify playlists.

Using the Bandsintown Spotify app, you can explore tour dates for the bands that you are listening to on Spotify. Simply drag and drop a song from your playlist into the Spotify icon in your player and you can access show information.  The tool will also suggest concerts in your area that you might like, based on your listening preferences. The app is also integrated with Facebook and will make recommendations based on the bands that you have liked on Facebook.

To help you remember concerts that you would like to attend, the app lets you RSVP and keep track of them.
