Comedian Jon Stewart has a new book out this week. But the odd thing is that Barnes & Noble sent out an e-mail promoting the eBook version, but the eBook doesn’t yet appear to be available.

On September 19th, B&N sent out an e-mail with the headline: “eBook Bulletin –  Jon Stewart Presents’ ‘Earth’! Plus eBook Deals for $ 5 or Less.” But when you click through from the e-mail, there is no listing for the book at all. The book is for sale on B&N’s website, but only as a hardcover or an eBook.

The Daily Show with Jon Stewart Presents Earth (The Book): A Visitor’s Guide to the Human Race is also not listed as an eBook in the Kindle store, though there is an audio book available. Apple has got it listed as an app, but the only review complains about the text.

The publisher, Grand Central Publishing, an imprint of Hachette, lists the formats as hardcover and audio book. We’d love to see this one in an eBook format, but B&N might be a little early.
