Good news for drivers that want to use smartphone technology to find nearby parking but don’t want to be caught texting and driving. BestParking, an iOS app that helps drivers locate parking lots in their vicinity based on location and price, is now compatible with Pioneer’s Advanced App Mode in-dash receivers. So now, drivers can use the app with a headset and they don’t have to use their phones.

The press release explains more: “Pioneer AppRadio users can now directly access BestParking’s app from the convenience of their in-vehicle display to quickly search for the cheapest and most convenient parking facilities throughout North America.”

The $2.99 app, which claims to be a “parking search engine” has parking locations for 43 cities and 79 airports across the country.
