Comics & The Solar System Make Top Grossing iPad Book Apps List

Comic book apps continue to lead the top grossing iPad apps again in the books genre this week. According to research from AppData, Inside Network’s data service that tracks app and developer leaderboards, Comics is the No. 1 top grossing iPad book app, followed by DC Comics at No. 2., the Marvel Comics at No. 3 and  The Walking Dead app, based on comic book series, at No. 10. Digital publishing firm comiXology powers all of these comic book apps.

Solar System for iPad, a $13.99 digital picture book about the planets from Touch Press, made the list at No. 6 this week.
