Confirmed: NookColor Will Get an Update Soon

Barnes and Noble has just put out a press release which confirms the HSN rumor I reported yesterday.

The NookColor will indeed be getting an update this Spring, and that update “will offer customers access to explore exciting new applications, e-mail and many other requested features.”

That’s not quite a point for point confirmation of yesterday’s story, but it’s close enough that I believe the rest of what HSN reported. This update will likely include Flash support, too.
