The European branch of Viewsonic announced a rather interesting satisfaction guaranteed policy yesterday. Customers who buy a Viewsonic Viewpad 7 from an authorized retailer will now have the option of trying the Viewpad 7 for 20 days. If the customer doesn’t like the Android tablet, Viewsonic will take it back no questions asked.
James Coulson, European marketing manager, ViewSonic, said: “There are many people that have heard about the new Tablet trend but for various reasons have not yet dived in. Working with Google, we want people to have a good first tablet experience, risk free.”
There are some conditions that have to be met, and this is time limited. But even so, this is a surprising and risky gamble. I wonder if it will work out for Viewsonic?
