David Rothman Experiments With eBook App On iPad

TeleRead Founder/Author David Rothman has a sneak preview version of his eBook available on the iPad through PadPressed, a WordPress blog plugin makes your blog look like an iPad app.

His new novel is called The Solomon Scandals, and you can check out sample chapters, an author bio, and information on how to buy the paperback or the eBook through this new pseudo-app.

Rothman writes on The Solomon Scandals’ webite: “This is an experiment with a new WordPress plug-in called PadPressed, which lacks all the Web navigation features that will eventually show up. Also, social media features may or may not work. But look, in effect, I’m giving you a preview not just of the book but also of the future. To think that I wrote the first draft of Scandals on an electric typewriter.”

This is a great way to get your book to the iPad without having to go through the iTunes submission process.
