Dr. Seuss’ “What Was I Scared Of” Released As App


Just in time for Halloween, Dr. Seuss’ What Was I Scared Of? is available as an iPhone or iPad app. The story deals with fear and acceptance and through a main character that meets up with a pair of empty green pants. The app is available for $1.99.

This app is one of two new Halloween-themed apps for the iPhone and iPad from Oceanhouse Media. The second eBook app is The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin” by Joe Troiano. Spookley the Square Pumpkin learns the benefits of being square shaped in a rainstorm. The app is available for $2.99.

Oceanhouse Media’s story apps, along with other children’s book apps, have been dominating the Top Paid apps in the book category for the past couple of months. According to a story in the New York Times, iPhones are quickly becoming toddler’s favorite toy.
