Eat Play Love Our Neighborhoods Is New Chicago-Focused eBooks

The city of Chicago has a new eBook guide called Eat Play Love Our Neighborhoods. The city’s Department of Tourism published the new eBook from Chicago-based journalist Alan Solomon. It is available as a free download through Lulu.com.

The Huffington Post reports: “The city of Chicago is a tangled maze of neighborhoods, carved up along ethnic, cultural and geographic lines. There are the 77 official “community areas” of the city, but locals identify more than 200 sub-regions across Chicago, from Wildwood to The Island to Hegewisch. To help visitors (and locals) sort out the confusion, and to highlight the best of the city’s many neighborhoods, the Department of Tourism has released a new free eBook.”

Not For Tourists also has an app for the city of Chicago, as part of its series of books for off-the-beaten path travel ideas for various cities. This collection includes apps for various different cities such as Chicago, London and Washington DC.
