Getting driving directions during rush hour can be a slow disaster since traffic conditions can change instantaneously, but your directions will not. Now, Google Maps has a way around that. The new update to the navigation app includes a major upgrade with notifications of faster routes options as they become available.
Previously, finding alternative routes mean using a passenger’s help, but alternative directions given in live-feedback mode will be a great asset that greatly improves the app. Some users are asking for other upgrades as well, but I’m not sure Google is keen on revealing speed limits for your current swath of road. For now, we’re happy to see the bug fixes and this much needed feature.
