Got a Nexus 7? I have a treat for you.

Google has been rolling out updates for the 7″ tablet, with the first reports coming yesterday. They haven’t released all the details on what the update contains, but there have been reports of performance improvements, bug fixes, and increased stability.

The one obvious change is that the update adds the option of rotating the homescreen. Under the previous version of JellyBean, you could only view the Nexus 7′s homescreen while holding the tablet in portrait mode (unless you wanted to read everything sideways). This tended to be inconvenient  given that a lot of games can only be played when holding the tablet in landscape orientation.
