Google Updates News Reading on Tablets

Do you read Google News on your tablet? Google has just redesigned the tool to make it into a more fluid reading experience.

The update is designed to make it easier to browse news by with intuitive gestures. You can swipe horizontally between sections jumping from world to entertainment, as you might in a print publication. If you want to go deeper into a story, you can tap “Explore in depth” to see multiple articles and related items for a particular story.

Google explains the new update on its blog: “There’s something special about reading news on your tablet. Indeed, swiping through articles brings to mind the familiar feeling of flipping through a favorite magazine or newspaper.”
