If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if you pointed a powerful pocket sized laser at the screen of an iPhone, here is your answer.

The hackers extraordinaires at KipKay pointed 5 of the Lightsaber-inspired Spyder 3 Arctic lasers at a brand new iPhone. As you can see in the video, the lasers burned a hole in the screen. Surprisingly, the iPhone still worked afterward, but it couldn’t survive phase 2. That involved a high power flashlight that first melted the guts of the iPhone 5 and then set the iPhone on fire.

Speaking as someone who enjoys watching the “will it blend” videos, I have to say that I think I found something better.  The destruction isn’t quite as thorough but what it lacks in apeed and noise it makes up for in smoke and Siri screams.
