How to Build Your Own Lego iPhone 5 Dock

Apple still hasn’t said when or even if they would ever release new docks which used the new Lightning dock connector so a number of enterprising individuals have come up with their own solutions.

A few days ago The Daily Brick posted instructions on how to build a dock out of Legos. It requires your current cable, of course, and it is designed to hold the iPhone 5 at a slight angle and allow for one handed easy removal from the dock.

The instructions are over on their website as a free download. If you don’t have the 47 bricks required to make the dock you can also buy them as a kit for £11.95.
