How To Use Amazon Locker

If you are looking to do some last minute holiday shopping on Amazon but won’t be home to receive the package, consider using Amazon Locker.

An Amazon Locker is a secure location where Amazon will deliver your package for you to pick up at your convenience. First you have to see if Amazon Locker is available in your area at this link. If it is available, then when you place your order, you can select an Amazon Locker as your shipping address. According to Amazon, “ Standard, One-Day, Two-Day, and Super Saver Shipping options are available for Locker delivery during the checkout process and at no additional cost.”

Once your package is delivered you’ll get a unique pick-up code via email or text giving you your locker pick-up details. This includes a code that you can enter on the touch screen of the locker, which will open the locker.

It’s important to note that these lockers aren’t storage devices. While they are designed to hold a package for a day or two until you can get to it, your package will only be available for three weekdays after you receive your pick-up code. If you don’t get it within the reservation window, it will be returned to Amazon.

Note, the items have to be sold by or fulfilled by Amazon.com and the product dimensions must be smaller than 11.8 x 11.8 x 11.8 inches.
