The tear down experts at iFixit have just released what could be the most redundant set of photos ever. They got their hands on the new iPhone 5 and have exposed its guts for all to see.

As cool as the photos are, TBH whiel looking at them I played a matching game. With all the many parts, photos, and other leaks over the past few months I’m pretty sure I’ve seen all the major components.

While I didn’t know the iPhone 5 would have 3 microphones, I did already know what the inside of the shell would look like as well as the shape of the logic board. Pretty much everyone knew that as well as other hardware details like the new docking port, headphone jack on the bottom, and more.

Really, these photos stand as confirmation of how thoroughly the iPhone 5 leaked more than they tell us about the guts of the new iPhone.
