Joyland eBooks will release Letters to Thomas Pynchon and Other Stories, a short story collection from author Chris Eaton, later this month.
The eBook will be the second title from the new digital publisher, which was formed in May when literary magazine Joyland teamed up with ECW press. The first title from Joyland was When They Cried by Jim Hanas.
Eaton’s new book pay homage to Pynchon’s The Crying of Lot 49 and begins with an unmailed letter to Thomas Pynchon. The story plays with notions of “ownership and plagiarism.” The title will be on sale later this month on eBooks.com.
