Lerner Publishing Group Partners With Impelsys For Digital Platform
Children’s book publisher Lerner Publishing Group is going digital. The publisher has partnered with digital distribution company Impelsys to help power the launch of its new Lerner Digital line.
Lerner Digital, which launched back in June, is powered by Impelsys’ iPublishCentral. According to the press release, it was developed “particularly for the school and library markets and allows students to access curricular content in the most innovative, engaging and user-friendly formats, that will motivate and enhance their reading experience and help them in the understanding of life lessons and educational curriculum.”
Lerner Digital will host more than 1,000 titles, including PDFs and enhanced eBooks.
Terri Reden, VP of Marketing and Digital Products at Lerner Publishing Group had this statement: “The transition from print to digital is a significant milestone for our organization. With Lerner Digital, we have taken a giant stride in reaching out to our end users where they are – online, proving yet again that we have always shown great agility in responding to both market dynamics and customer requirements.”
