Library Journal Partners With NetGalley For Digital Romances

Library Journal is now reviewing eBooks. The publication is now accepting review submissions for digital romance titles which will be distributed to editors through NetGalley. Simultaneous print/eBook titles are currently not eligible.

The expansion of review coverage is driven by the popularity of eBooks in libraries. According to Library Journal ‘s 2010 “Ebook Penetration Survey,” 72% of U.S. public libraries currently offer eBooks.

eBooks selected for review will run online in Library Journal Xpress Reviews and, often in Library Journal’s print Romance column. Library Journal also has plans to expand reviews to include fiction, novellas and original nonfiction works at some point.
