NetGalley Expands into the UK

NetGalley has signed its first publishing partner in Great Britain. Faber & Faber will soon be using NetGalley’s platform to offer review copies of the books it publishes.

The first titles will be released in September, and F&F plans to have a rolling list of 20 titles available at any one time. Faber & Faber is one of over a hundred publishers who have signed with NetGalley to support the over 36,000 reviewers and professional readers who have now signed up with the service to read the eBooks that NetGalley offers titles in Epub and Kindle formats.

On a related note, Booki.sh, the cloud based reading platform, started offering a competing service back in April. Any publisher who agrees to have Booki.sh distribute its titles can also offer free review copies to anyone they wish.
