Doodle.ly is a fun and free way to draw on your iPad, but the latest update opens the app to iPhone doodlers. The free app has social features so you can share what you draw with other doodlers, follow other doodlers, as well as “heart” your favorite drawings from other doodlers. You can even share other doodler’s drawings.
According to Jackie Andrade, Professor of Psychology at Plymouth University, doodling is a great way to improve your focus.
Doodling takes only a small cognitive load, but it’s just enough to keep your mental resources focused on the main task… The exciting thing is that people actually got better while doing two things at once. Doodling is not as bad a thing as we might think.
I gave it an honest effort at a carrot, but I’d rather just show you some other drawings I saw from other talented users. They are really impressive.
